Fantastic 20th Anniversary Concert

On Sunday, October 23rd Encore celebrated our 20th anniversary in concert at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.  

St. Andrews was a beautiful place to play and had a wonderful audience.

We're looking forward to our next concert on Monday, November 14th.

Welcome to the 20th Anniversary of the Encore Wind Ensemble!

This will be an exciting season of celebration. We’ll enjoy performances honoring repertoire that spans centuries in tribute to two decades of great performances from the Encore Wind Ensemble.

Pass the word, May 1, 2016 is the deadline to apply for the Young Composer Competition

If you know a composer, age 15-22,  encourage them to submit a 5-8 minute composition for wind ensemble for consideration. The winning composition will receive a $1,000 cash award with a public performance and recording by the Encore Wind Ensemble.
