Q: Who is Encore?
A: The Encore Wind Ensemble is a 42-member post-collegiate musical ensemble of some of the finest woodwind, brass and percussion players in the Twin Cities. Encore is committed to enriching communities by providing concerts in their neighborhoods and inspiring our youth to express themselves through the performance and creation of music. Jerry Luckhardt, associate director of bands at the University of Minnesota, is Encore’s conductor.

A: The Encore Wind Ensemble has developed the MusicConnect Program to do just that. By working with a local semi-professional wind ensemble, your students will experience a high quality performance that can inspire them to continue a lifelong exploration of music.

MusicConnect Program Options
Host a Concert - Encore will provide a concert at your school that includes marketing, advertising and promotional efforts.
Share a Concert - Add Encore to your own school band performance. This is a great way to showcase your band's progress without having to perform a full-length concert on your own. Encore will also include your school in its marketing, advertising and promotional efforts.
